̽»¨ºÏ¼¯ is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual for the role of Principal Computational Genetics Scientist. This small yet vibrant team develops and applies cutting-edge analytics to answer a diverse set of questions across our R&D pipeline. The successful candidate will support the analytical workload within the group and may also lead projects with an outward-facing role.

Responsibilities:

• Analysing and using genetic data generated through multiple platforms
• Applying expert knowledge of statistics, specifically in statistical genetics
• Utilizing advanced computational skills in R, python, SQL, bash, and cloud environments
• Interpreting and presenting data in the context of the question under study
• Understanding and integrating data from other sources (e.g. transcriptomics, proteomics)
• Collaborating with colleagues from other functions

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Direct experience in genetic data analysis
• Proficiency in R, python, SQL, bash, and cloud environments
• Good knowledge of the drug discovery process
• Experience in the application of genetics and genetic approaches to drug discovery and development
• Expertise in methods for functional interpretation of genomics data
• Expertise in the application of machine learning or artificial intelligence approaches
• Relevant biology expertise is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English along with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team to deliver against deadlines
• Ability to quickly accumulate new knowledge and the agility to move quickly between diverse projects.
